Like so many in turbulence of our times I struggled with mental health issues and unresolved trauma, which in turn gave way to addiction and yes more trauma !

When I hit rock bottom the seeds of Broke Witch were already in my mind. I knew there was more life in store for me, but I also knew it would take all my strength and skill to fight for it. I vowed to change and insight change for the better of my self and everyone around me.

I left an abusive relationship , moved away from a place that had once felt like home but now was so far from, I didn’t recognize it. I quit my two toxic jobs, removed myself from toxic people and started advocating for myself. As I clawed my way back to rescue the parts of myself I had lost along the way, I found inspiration littered along my path.

When my daughter and I started on our new and hard fought life, I knew I had to do better for her, for myself and for the world we live in. I created Broke Witch Apothecary to work in harmony with our lives and the environment.

Through all my trials my love for my craft, nature and creativity has been my source of comfort and strength. Now I am blessed to share these gifts with you. May they help you on your journey, wherever it may take you.
